Candidate Screening & Endorsement Process Orientation

Who should attend?
1. Candidates planning to seek the endorsement of the Houston GLBT Political Caucus for the November 2017 election or any of the 2018 elections.
2. Caucus members who wish to serve as volunteers in the screening process.

Why participate?
It is an opportunity to ensure that all candidates who seek our endorsement have a chance to learn about the process and ask questions. At the same time, it is an opportunity for caucus membership to learn the process and be trained to screen candidates candidates for endorsement.

The Caucus is a volunteer-run bipartisan organization and our endorsements of candidates are greatly respected in Houston because of the standards we hold for the screening process. Numerous Houston voters rely on our endorsement card to make informed decisions about which candidates to support. We welcome your engagement in this process.
